Harold Ball
Head of Data and Analytics at IKEA China
Harold Ball is an analytics strategy consultant and serial entrepreneur, with over 25 years of experience applying advanced math to solve big data problems in marketing, finance and operations.
He holds a BA, MS and PhD in Economics, has founded three companies in the US and one in China, and has had two exits.
Harold has lived and worked in China since summer 2015, serving as the analytics leader for WPP and Dentsu Aegis Network. He also launched and led a joint venture between WPP and Getui, China’s mobile data leader.
Prior to China, he was Faculty at Georgia State University, where he launched GSU’s big data lab (insight.gsu.edu). For seven years, he was an Advisor in Georgia Institute of Technology’s Advanced Technology Development Center (atdc.org), working with technology startups who seek to build innovation and competitive differentiation through analytical methods.
Kenneth Cheung
COO at PARKLU
Ken has worked in the digital media space since 2006, focusing on performance media. He sold his first website in 2008, advised on the business model for Ve Interactive (UK’s first adtech unicorn) and moved to Shanghai in 2011, where he spent time with WPP (Mindshare) leading strategic innovations in branded content. In 2013, he joined Darwin Marketing as VP of Operations working to develop the operational infrastructure in support of its eventual acquisition by iProspect (Dentsu Aegis Network). In 2017 he led the product development of the world’ss first virtual boxing training app and in 2018 he supported the setup and management of the Shanghai office of Curiosity China, in anticipation of its acquisition by FarFetch. He is now COO at PARKLU.
TR Harrington

TR is a global multilingual executive, serial entrepreneur and MBA adjunct professor with over 25 years of experience in marketing, adtech, product and business development.
TR has been at the forefront of interactive marketing and information technology since 1995 in Silicon Valley and since 2001 in China. Select client credits include work for leading Chinese brands China Mobile, TenCent and Alibaba in addition to his work for leading global brands such as Apple, Gucci, L’Oreal, P&G, Dell, and Citibank just to name a few.
Prior to founding Darwin Marketing, a Shanghai-based search, social and ECOM digital marketing company, TR previously held a number of marketing management positions at USWeb/CKS, RedGorilla.com and Bank of America during the mid to late 90s.
His expertise has been featured in Harvard Business Review (China), Fortune Magazine, Reuters and Associated Press. TR holds an MBA from the Darden School at University of Virginia, a BA from Boston College and is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Business at CEIBS, China’s leading business school.
