Join our biannual MOX VC Panel Happy Hour, featuring seasoned investors from preeminent venture capital funds. Past speakers include super-angels and VCs from Gobi Partners (US$1.1 billion AUM), Infinity Ventures, Mucker Capital, SOSV and our global mentors.

Also, you will enjoy their candid thoughts on the do’s and dont’s of fundraising, how to get in to venture capital, as well as insights from their investing career.

This event will be a mix of virtual and onsite festivities: grab a drink with the MOX team at Taiwan Tech Arena. Moreover, we will serve some drinks and snacks for networking. SPEAKER

1. Pui Yan Leung, Executive Director at Vertex Ventures

Pui Yan serves as Executive Director, Investment at Vertex Ventures. She focuses on opportunities in Southeast Asia. Prior to joining Vertex, she was a Director of Investments and Operations at Singtel Innov8, the corporate venture arm of telco group Singtel. In her role, she built a pipeline of tech startups that fit with the firm’s investment themes and established strategic alliances and managed partnerships with key ecosystem stakeholders.

2. Mitesh Shah, Co-founder of Inflection Point Ventures

Mitesh Shah co-founded Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), one of India’s largest angel investment platforms with over 1500 members, helping high-caliber startups connect with CXOs & professional angel investors and have access to their capital as well as domain knowledge.

Also, Mitesh served as the CFO of Ola from December 2013 until June 2016, playing a pivotal role in the evolution of one of the biggest startup stories of India. In June 2016, Mitesh joined BookMyShow, one of the most fascinating success stories of the Indian eCommerce landscape, as CFO where he has been spearheading the finance function and playing an active role in strategic business management.

3. William Bao Bean, General Partner at SOSV, Managing Director of MOX – the Mobile Only Accelerator and Chinaccelerator

William is a General Partner at SOSV – The Accelerator VC – the #2 most active angel and seed stage investor in the world 2019 with US$700m under management. At SOSV he is the Managing Director of Chinaccelerator the first accelerator to launch in Asia and the only accelerator in Asia to have a unicorn come through its program – Bitmex the #1 crypto exchange in the world by trading volume enabling anyone with a smartphone to access financial products and opening up investment to the unbanked.
