For this MOX Happy Hour, we’ve invited Mark Ikauniks, Venture Partner at Accelerating Asia Ventures and EIR at SOSV MOX, who will be sharing insights into VC investment in Southeast Asia.
Mark is Venture Partner at Accelerating Asia Ventures (“AAV”) in Singapore, responsible for portfolio selection and development and also oversight of AAV’s fund management and investor relations functions.
Prior to managing private capital, Mark spent nearly a decade in investment banking advising technology companies in New York, Silicon Valley and Hong Kong, where he worked on numerous category-defining new issuances across technology verticals including the IPOs for SunPower (USA), GoDaddy (USA), Tudou (China) and Xunlei (China), among others.
A long-time investor in publicly-traded assets and investor in private enterprises, Mark sees extraordinary annual VC deal flow as Expert-in-Residence at world-class accelerators Chinaccelerator (Shanghai) and MOX (Taipei), and Mentor at Betatron (Hong Kong) and Ping An Cloud Accelerator (Shenzhen). A guest lecturer for the Henley Executive Hedge Fund Program, he resides in Singapore, has permanent resident status in Hong Kong and holds dual US/EU citizenship.
