MOX to host its 3-year anniversary party at Taiwan Tech Arena

MOX is celebrating 3 years supporting mobile startups with a party at its new office at Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA). Besides enjoying this house-warming party for our new space, we will look back on accomplishments of MOX and its parent fund from Silicon Valley, SOSV – The Accelerator VC.

For this special occasion, we will welcome SOSV founder Sean O’Sullivan, MOX founder William Bao Bean and MOX’s key partners and supporters from Taiwan and around the region.

“Opportunity in the world today has got to incorporate the great growth of Asia. Taiwan has been at the center of leveraging talent from across Asia for decades, and SOSV’s MOX program is in Taipei because of the great technical skills of local talent as well as the ease and transparency of running business operations. Our first three years in supporting mobile Apps for “the next 4 billion” have resulted in some spectacularly successful startups. We look forward to the next 30 years!”, said Sean O’Sullivan.

During the past year, MOX has accomplished some key milestones, from moving its main office as part of a partnership with Taiwan Tech Arena (TTA) to graduating two more batches of startups scaling in mobile-first mobile-only countries.

The mobile-only accelerator is backed by venture fund SOSV and was established in December 2015 as Taiwan’s first international accelerator program and one of the world’s first mobile accelerators. Over the last three years, MOX has brought 34 mobile technology startups from around the world to Taipei and helped them grow in the mobile-first, mobile-only markets in Southeast Asia.
