Regina Galang has 17+ years of experience working in finance and innovation. She started her career as a CPA with PricewaterhouseCoopers in San Francisco focused on investment and tech companies.  Regina did a short stint with a pre-IPO internet start-up in 2000 before moving to Zimbabwe to pursue a volunteer opportunity in Microfinance in 2001.  After nearly 3 years in sub-Saharan Africa focusing primarily on economic development consultancies, she returned to the States to pursue a double masters MBA | MPA degree.
Regina was most recently the Innovation Director of Greater China for Diageo, the worldâs leading premium alcohol beverage company, where she worked for 10 years. Â She led her team through all aspects of product innovation from concept idea through to commercialization. Regina is proud to have launched award-winning innovations on brands such as Johnnie Walker, Baileys, Smirnoff, Shui Jing Fang and The Singleton to name a few.
Regina holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley, a MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School at Harvard University. Â In addition to China, she has also lived and worked in the United States, Singapore, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, the United Kingdom and Thailand. Â In 2014, she was featured as the only woman in the Global Entrepreneur article âBusiness Elites Under 40â for her innovation work in China.
